These silver coloured glass earrings are made from dichroic glass. They are not quite oval more rounded rectangular shaped.
The characteristics of dichroic glass are almost magical. Depending on the light and viewing angle, the glass appears to be two different colours. Dichroic glass has a multi - layered, thin metallic - like coating set onto the glass surface - in this case, black glass.
The dichroic glass is cut and ‘capped’ with a layer of clear glass and kiln fired to fuse the layers and round off the edges. The glass stud pieces are fixed onto 6mm Sterling Silver posts with Sterling Silver scrolls.
Glass size - 10mm x 13mm (approx).
The finished earrings are presented in a gift box.
