Copperfoil Workshop
Saturday 21st February 9.30am - 12pm
This class is an introduction into the copperfoil technique - also known as the ‘Tiffany method’.
You will learn the basics of this traditional technique to make your own piece of glass art - a suncatcher, wall hanging or decoration.
You will be shown how to cut glass from a template, use a glass grinder, apply and burnish copperfoil and solder the glass together to complete your piece.
There will be a variety of design templates to choose from and a selection of coloured and textured glass to make your decorative piece.
You will be able to complete your project in the time allocated and will leave with an amazing glass creation made by you!
No previous experience is necessary to take part in this workshop and is suitable for age 16+
Classes are a maximum of 4 participants to ensure there is time for focused tuition.
What’s included in the price?
All materials, tools and equipment to make your decorative glass piece will be provided.
An apron and safety glasses will also be provided.
All relevant health and safety will be taught through each stage of the process.
Refund Policy
Cancellation and a refund can be obtained up to 7 days before the class.
You may gift or transfer the class to someone else. In some cases, an alternative date may be arranged.
